New sails fall/winter update!

Wave Vogue MKIV “All new pure wave”

PROGRAM: Pure Wave Side shore

The original favourite in the RRD line has received a new face lift. A modernised outline and shape has maintained the control that fans of the sail have always loved, but at the same time increased the power and all around ability of the sail, thereby making it now even more versatile. Construction has also been updated, fine tuning the materials to give optimum performance, weight and strength. The outcome is a sail that not only offers the ultimate in control, but also opens up a world of opportunities in the ‘real world’ of wavesailing. The Vogue Mk4 is the all new control sail from RRD.

Features:
-Target window – 5mm high durability X-ply surrounds a 4mm high visibility X-ply centre window, which together with double stitched seams, gives the perfect combination of strength, visibility and performance.
-Cross panel construction- The striking full X-ply body gives heavy duty support along the main lines of tension in the sail.
-Performance based construction – Each panel specifically designed for performance. Lighter but super strong 4mm X-ply through the top of the sail
reduces the swing weight and improves the manoeuvrability, whilst heavy duty 5mm X-ply through the lower parts enhance durability.

Available in 3.4-3.7-4.0-4.2-4.5-4.7-5.0-5.2-5.6

The Four MKII “4 batten wave”.

PROGRAM: Wave 4 battens

The Four Mk1 hit the water and was an instant favourite. The Mk2 is a significant enhancement to this. Small modifications to the outline and shape gives the Mk2 new levels of stability and wind range. Extended bottom end, whilst at the same time increased control, means more time sailing and less time rigging. The 4 battens and compact style of the sail make it incredibly responsive, whether its on the wave or in the air. Add to that
improvements in construction to increase durability and you have a sail that can now dominate the conditions where ever you wish to sail.

FEATURES:
-Target window – 5mm high durability X-ply outer window gives a strong boundary around a high visibility monofilm centre window. Together with
double stitched seams, this all gives the perfect combination of strength, visibility and performance.
-Cross panel construction- The striking full X-ply body gives heavy duty support along the main lines of tension in through the sail.
-Performance based construction – Each panel specifically designed for performance. X-ply added to the top section of the sail in the Mk2 enhances
durability, whilst the mono film window keeps the sail weight to a minimum and optimizes visibility.

Available in 3.4-3.7-4.0-4.2-4.5-4.7-5.0-5.3-5.7-6.0

PROGRAM: Freemove

The Move is a brand new sail in the RRD lineup designed 100% for the free move sailor. Originating from the highly successful Superstyle, we developed the Move to ac- company the Firemove and Freestylewave boards. Increased bottom end power, a more compact throw about feel, whilst maintaining high levels of control at all times. Whether you want to blast on flat water, throw down some moves, bump and jump or even hit a few waves, with no compromises, this is the ultimate do it all sail.

FEATURES:
-Low aspect ratio
-Reduced luff length gives the sail a compact throw about feel, plus a longer boom increases the bottom end power.
-Cross panel construction- Full X-ply body gives heavy duty support along the main lines of tension in the sail.
-Performance based construction
-The use of different materials throughout the sail gives perfect strength to weight ratio according to each size and each use.
Larger sails have mono film top section to reduce weight, whilst the smaller sizes use strong X-ply to improve durability.
