– Where did you grow up?
I grew up in a small town called Troon on the west coast of Scotland.
– Tell us more about your background in kitesurfing.
I started kiteboarding when i was around 12 years old and I was taught by my dad on some really old gear!. It took me a while to get it at first but I quickly started competing on the British tour where I met some really good friends that i would have for life.
– What is your best result?
My best result was on the 2016 British tour where I managed to pull off all of my tricks in my heats and ended 1st in the junior British Kiteboarding championships 2016. This was the year where i really started getting different types of handlepasses more consistently.
– What is your favorite gear?
My favourite gear is the Obsession pro MK3 kites along with the 138 Juice board, I feel like this is the ultimate freestyle combination.
– What is your favorite spot?
My favourite spot is for sure Taiba, Brazil this is the ultimate kiteboarding location. Flat lagoons with the cleanest wind you can imagine.
– What are your goals for 2017?
My goals for 2017 are to get a podium finish at the pro mens in Britain and also to try and add some more style to my riding.
